Long-time Orange Lutheran softball head coach, Steve Miklos, was inducted into the Orange County Softball Hall of Fame on Wednesday evening.
Miklos has spent all 26 years of his coaching career at OLu, compiling a record of 542-222 and advancing to the CIF playoffs 25 times. His teams have won 2 CIF-SS Championships (2001 and 2002), had two runner-up finishes, and have won 13 league titles.
Last February, Miklos earned his 500th career victory as a head coach in the Lancers season-opening win over Esperanza. This season, Miklos helped the Lancers to a 22-6 overall record and an undefeated record in the Trinity League.
The Orange County Softball Hall of Fame has been inducting members since 2013. Coach Miklos was inducted as a member of the 10th class.
