Meet a Lancer: Natalie Turbedsky '22

The Nechita stage has been a special place for dancer Natalie Turbedsky '22.

Natalie Turbedsky"Performing here made it real versus a hobby," Natalie says. "It's the creative way I can express myself and remains a huge passion."

Without question, it was in The Addams Family and with fellow dancer Haylee Brinson.

When you're not performing, what are you doing?

Baking, napping, and playing with my 6-year-old sister.

Finish this sentence - Ten years from now, I want to be...

....working as a nurse in a hospital and continuing to have good relationships with good people.

What teacher made the most impact on you and why?

Mrs. Jennifer Blomquist, because she's taught be about dance and life and did so with creativity. She's been a breath of fresh air.

What inspires you?

My mom, as she is a scientist and has inspired me to want to follow the same path.

What's something people would be surprised to know about you?

That I have a cat who is named Jazz, after my favorite dance style.

Favorite Bible Verse:

Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? -Matthew 6:26
