Meet a Lancer: Harrison Gomes '22

Senior Class President Harrison Gomes, Class of 2022, has been cast in every show that has been offered during his time at Orange Lutheran.

A performer at heart, Harrison participates in Honors Choir, Acting, Vocal Jazz, and Introduction to Dance. He also serves as Senior Class President and is a member of National Honors Society and the Performing Arts Academy Harrison Gomes(note: Academies will be known as Deeper Learning Pathways beginning in Fall 2022).

Harrison notes that one of his favorite moments during each performance is at the end of the show, when he and his cast mates complete their final bows and point to God to thank Him for all He has provided.

The Arts at OLu have made a tremendous impact on Harrison's OLu journey and although he's excited for the next chapter at Cal State Fullerton this fall, he's appreciative and grateful for his OLu experience.

Favorite moment on the Nechita stage:

"Moon and Me" as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family.

When you're not performing, what are you doing?

Hanging out with friends and relaxing.

Finish this sentence - Ten years from now, I want to be...

....happy and hosting The Tonight Show!

What teacher made the most impact on you and why?

My freshman English teacher, Dr. Sharon Elliott, because of her honesty about the world and because she was wise and kind. I also loved participating in Hairspray with her!

What inspires you?

A drive to make everyone happy!

What's something people would be surprised to know about you?

How nervous I actually get.

Favorite Bible Verse:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16
