Since she was two years old, Natalie Lucia Gomes, Class of 2020, has been dancing. She learned about Orange Lutheran's Nechita Center for the Performing Arts when former Orange Lutheran CEO Todd Moritz and his wife brought her to a performance of "Seussical the Musical" as a 6th grader in 2014.
With a GPA of 4.2, Natalie is a member of the Student Leadership Team, Advanced Dance, Musical Theater Dance, and Women's Honors Choir. Natalie is applying to over 20 schools, but her top choices are Fordham, UCLA, UCI, and LMU, where she plans to study dance.
Natalie says, "OLu musicals, dance, and the performing arts are where I met all my friends. It's all I know, and I'm so grateful."
Favorite moment on the Nechita stage:
"Beauty and the Beast" where I played a wolf and we entered the stage through the audience. Seeing that reaction is something I'll never forget.
