2019 Alum Caden Connor Drafted by the Chicago White Sox

Caden Connor ‘19 became the 25th Orange Lutheran baseball player selected in the Major League Baseball draft when he was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 19th round as the 569th pick.

Connor played two years of varsity baseball for the Lancers. He was named a First Team All-Trinity League Player, the National High School Invitational Tournament MVP, and led the Trinity League in batting average his junior year.

 

Following graduation from OLu, he went on to play for Cal State Fullerton.  He appeared in 171 games over four seasons as a Titan and has a career batting average of .322 to go along with 106 RBIs.  He was Second Team All-Big West in 2022.
